Peart Family Wishes To Grieve Alone

This past weekend's tragic news that Rush drummer Neil Peart lost his wife, Jackie, to cancer has prompted an outpouring of grief from the band's fans wondering where they can send flowers and/or condolences.

But Rush's Toronto-based management company, SRO, said yesterday:

"As per the family's wishes, it's kept very private. There's no service, or any charity, or anywhere to send flowers etc. They just want to be left alone at this very sad time."

Peart also lost his and Jackie's 19-year-old daughter, Selena, in a car accident last August.
